SOCIAL MEDIA ART FOR DIGBETH'S CHANNEL 4 BID

I've been experimenting over the months with repeating geometric patterns based on the visual style that's developed from my painting. You may also be aware that I love straight lines, so it was a rather odd challenge to have a go at creating a floral wallpaper from vectors, as part of my experiments over the last few months. Curves are not exactly common in my work, but in this instance, it seemed like a fun thing to do. It's always good to challenge expectations.

I was not intending to go public with this design yet, as I was still playing around with it, but I received a message from the Custard Factory PR team to say that they were attempting to persuade major UK broadcaster Channel 4 to move their headquarters here, and would everyone send out messages on social media to help underscore the idea that Digbeth would be a good fit?

I had a quick look through my files, chose the wallpaper design, then set about making a vector Channel 4 logo, to use in art.  Considering that it only took a morning ( as many of the ingredients were already constructed ), I'm very pleased with the results.
